About the Trainer
Hi there, I’m Kush Sharma. I’m a Digital Photography Mentor, based out of Pune, India.
I’m the founder of Creative Pad Photography, the most popular photography workshop organisation in Pune. We have over 200 four-star and five-star reviews on Google, the highest amongst all the photography institutes. This is solely because we always put our students first and provide them with a lot of resources that makes their photography journey a smooth one.
When I started out learning digital photography, the thing that bothered we was that most of the courses assumed that the students had some kind of previous knowledge of photography. Hence, they were not beginner friendly.
I wanted to change this and develop a workshop that explained photography in a way that was extremely easy-to-understand.
And this is achieved by focusing more on the practical and hands-on learning techniques, rather than relying on boring definitions and theory. My goal is to make you take great shots as quickly as possible because I believe that’s where the fun lies.
Moreover, everything is taught in an easy-to-understand manner and with the help of examples.

That’s not all. In case you want to see all our reviews, just type Creative Pad Photography in the Google search bar and you’ll be able to see all the reviews on the right hand side. We’ve got over 100 five-star reviews, which is the highest amongst all the organisations that conduct photography workshops in Pune.
Will you provide a DSLR camera?
We have a few DSLR cameras with us that we provide without any charge on a first-enquiry basis. You can call us to know the availability status before you pay the booking fee. However, confirmed bookings will only be done for people who have paid the booking fee.
Once we run out of these cameras, we provide DSLR cameras at the rate of Rs.400/day. You will have to inform us beforehand, once you’ve paid the booking fee.
Is there an outdoor session included?
No, this workshop takes place indoors. Our outdoor workshops are carried out separately, which as of now are open only to our premium members who have attended the basic workshop.
I’m not a complete beginner as I’ve done some photography before. Is this workshop right for me?
The purpose of this workshop is to make you master shooting with a DSLR in the manual mode. Most beginners only use the automatic mode, and hence don’t understand the art of photography. Shooting in manual mode is tough to learn but our practical approach towards teaching makes it very easy and fun to learn.
Not only that, we also teach you crucial rules and principles of photography. Applications of all the settings and principles in different types of photography like landscape, portrait, food, etc is also taught.
The information on all the equipments and accessories is also provided. And it all doesn’t end there. After the workshop, you are given access to our private Facebook group, which is only meant for people who have attended our workshops. In this group, members can post the shots they take and receive and give feedback. It’s an exclusive photography community where pictures, discussions, project opportunities, etc. are posted so everyone can benefit.
Is it necessary to be present on both the days?
Yes, it’s a continuous workshop. What is taught on the second day is based on the learnings of the first day.
Do you provide a certificate at the end of this two-day workshop?
Yes, we provide a participation certificate at the end of this two-day workshop.
What is your private Facebook group about? How will it benefit me?
Once you complete the workshop, you get added to our private Facebook group which is a very active community of photographers who’ve attended our workshops or taken one-on-one coaching with us. You can post shots, seek and offer advice and become a better photographer. Moreover, we have special offers and discounts for our members that you will be eligible to make use of. This group ensures that our relationship continues even after the workshop and that you continue your development towards becoming a better photographer.
